Welcome in the website of the Sainte Anne hermitage chapel

Located on the heights of the village of Aillant-sur-Tholon (*), in the department of Yonne, the Sainte Anne hermitage chapel is the last hermitage in the department that remains in good condition.

Built in the XIIth century and restored in the XVIIth, the chapel is maintained by an association :

de la
CHAPELLE ERMITAGE SAINTE ANNE

Created in 1975 on the initiative of the inhabitants of Aillant-sur-Tholon and of their priest of the time, this association organizes events and publishes a booklet. These actions make it possible for the chapel to be maintained and allow its visit.

The vault can be visited only by appointment by calling 03.86.63.42.32 . It is also open during the national "heritage days" that take place in September.
